Esteemed delegates, student officers, directors, and guests,
It is my utmost pleasure and privilege to welcome you to KISMUN 2020. My name is Hyun Min Jeon and I will be serving as the head chair of UNEP. This will be my 8th MUN conference. I remember my first MUN experience as traumatic. I couldn’t even walk up to the podium and state my position. However, after the help of Chairs and fellow delegates, I was able to transcend from a shy delegate to best delegate of the committee.
I believe MUN conferences allow each and every one of us to delve deeper into the complexities of current issues and learn how to solve the issues today and tomorrow.
Our LDP team is dedicated to provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to engage in meaningful debate on prevailing global issues. From the selection of committee topics to the precise selection process of delegates, I can guarantee that KISMUN 2020 will be a productive and fulfilling conference for all participants. It is my hope that after the conclusion of KISMUN 2020, delegates will leave and be inspired to make tangible changes to the world and will have become passionate speakers.

Kim Tae Hyun
Honorable chairs, delegates, officers and teachers, welcome to KISMUN 2020. My name is Tae Hyun Kim and it’s a great honor to lead the UNEP conference as a deputy chair.
Go back to the time of my first MUN, even though there were numerous opinions that I wanted to claim, but I couldn't because I didn't have enough confidence to have a speech in front of many people. I was concerned that if I make some mistakes, everyone in the conference would laugh at me. It is true that this kind of situation happened several times again in the other conferences. However, with the help of my nice chairs, I gradually started to adapt to the mood of the conference and started to be confident.
For the delegates who are new in the MUN, I will encourage them to be confident in the committees. For the delegates who have wide experience in MUN, I will help them to build a field for them to show off their talents. I will try my best to bring out the potential ability for all of you guys in order to carry out the best performance in the conference. Just remember, be confident, cooperative and passionate. Hope to have nice experiences without regrets.
